Extension privacy policy
AI Wait Rewards helps users measure and make better use of the time they spend waiting for supported AI responses while keeping prompts, responses, and conversations private.
Version 0.4.2 makes no remote requests. It has no analytics, telemetry, advertising-service, account, reward, payment, payout, or redemption connection.
Browser applicability and Limited Use
This policy primarily refers to AI Wait Rewards for the Microsoft Edge browser. The same version is also prepared for Chrome with identical extension behavior and data boundaries. In Microsoft Edge, all information described below remains subject to the local-only limits in this policy. For Chrome distribution, AI Wait Rewards' handling and use of user data complies with the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.
What the extension handles locally

What the extension does not collect
The extension does not read, store, collect, or transmit prompts, AI responses, conversation history, general page text, form values, cookies, keystrokes, account credentials, files, payment information, or unrelated browsing activity. It does not retain a history of waits.
Supported-site access
The content script runs only on https://chatgpt.com/*. After first-use choice,
it checks only for one narrow structural interface control indicating that generation is
active. It does not use URL paths or conversation meaning.
Sharing, selling, and remote processing
Version 0.4.2 does not send extension data to AI Wait Rewards or any third party. It does not sell data, use data for behavioral advertising, create cross-site profiles, or use remote executable code. The packaged fictional reviewer page is local, isolated from ordinary browsing, and creates no network or real-value activity.
User choice, controls, and deletion
Before a first-use choice, generation measurement, timing records, sponsored-card handling, qualification, and reward activity do not begin. Users may choose timer only, turn sponsored experiences off later without affecting the timer, turn the timer off independently, clear extension storage, or uninstall. Clearing storage returns setup to pending and keeps sponsorship off until a new explicit choice.
Security and policy changes
All executable code is packaged with the extension. A release that adds remote data handling must update this policy, store disclosures, and the in-product notice before activation. Materially different data use will not be enabled silently.
Questions and rights requests
Use the Support page or email aiwaitrewards@gmail.com. Because version 0.4.2 does not receive extension data, there is no server-side extension-data account or record to retrieve. Browser-local data can be removed through browser extension settings or uninstall.
